Travelling to new and different skim spots can lead to epic sessions. No matter how far away you are going - a one hour drive or a five hour plane flight - you will be in for an interesting experience when you grab your skimboard and start exploring. There are a number of well known skim spots outside of the US:

• Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
• France
• Australia
• Costa Rica
• Chile

There are a few items you will always want to bring on a skim trip:

• Your board (of course) and maybe a backup or two
• Sunscreen
• Water and snacks
• Wetsuits to match the climate
• A board bag to stash everything in
• Padding for the rails of your board when flying (towels work well)
