There’s been some decent skim the last few days but nothin too good as far as I’ve seen. Today was pretty windy and unskimmable with a good sized swell coming in right now.
Haven’t done an update for a while because I was in Maui – some pics and maybe video of that soon.

hey man. you were in maui? i live in kihei. how come i never saw you down at makena skimming? maybe i just missed you. i am going to USD in august. i skim every day here and want to continue it over there but know nothing about skimming in san diego
Cool, you came to the right place to find out about skimming in San Diego. A lot of the guys that akin the most here use this site and I try to put up reports as often as possible. We have three spots – the wall, marine st. And windansea. I did skim Makena with my brother but just for one day. It was pretty fun- there was a good south swell. It was on Sunday the 21st. Hope to meet you in SD sometime.

Yeah for sure. I was there that morning but somehow missed you. You got lucky, that was the first real south swell of the season I will get in touch when it gets closer, I want to find some people to skim with who know san diego and are as stoked on skimming as me.
