There’s been some decent skim the last few days but nothin too good as far as I’ve seen. Today was pretty windy and unskimmable with a good sized swell coming in right now.
Haven’t done an update for a while because I was in Maui – some pics and maybe video of that soon.
Yesterday had some fun waves at the higher tides in the morning and before dark. Good wraps and secondaries but no siders. Still looked rideable this morning but the swell was definitely getting bigger and the sets were getting too far out. Could still be some good setups depending on how big it gets.
12:00 pm – A few skimmable waves but the slope still isn’t too good and most waves are breaking too far out, even with the higher tide. Looks like the sand might get worse too before it gets better again.
