Current Conditions

September 25th, 2009

Foggy and almost no swell but the weather will probably clear up later. Best bet is marine st. at lower tide.

Sunny Santa Ana conditions but not enough swell and too much tide. Yesterday afternoon was fun though so maybe it will improve later today.

Wall Update

September 15th, 2009

Fun waves at the Wall today. Lots of seaweed in the morning, cleared up a little later in the day but still sticking around. Choppy conditions most of the day but still fun secondaries and a few connections. A couple photos from this afternoon:

Almost good but there’s a lot of seaweed and it’s pretty mushy / choppy. Siders I saw weren’t really connectable, but close.

Surf is pretty much nonexistant. Checked Marine and Windansea and didn’t skim.

Current Conditions – Text Updates

September 3rd, 2009

I broke the camera that I used to take the skim reports with (still have a good camera but don’t like taking it to the beach when I’m just going to skim). Anyway, that’s mostly the reason why there have been less condition updates. So instead I will start doing some text only updates. I’m also still open to anybody who wants to submit reports or become a contributor to the site.

Yesterday (9/2) was tiny and troughy with good wind and weather conditions. Both Marine and Windansea were getting weak north angled waves that were barely skimmable.
